On Wednesday, 1st August 2012, Akash Memorial Charitable Trust organised the Rakhi and Card making competition at Virjanand Akash Computer Kendra, Arya Samaj Mandir.
50 students from different groups participated in this competition and made really amazing and beautiful Rakhis using their creativity. The prize distribution for the same will be held soon.
48 students of the Virjanand Akash Computer Kendra successfully passed the MS Specialist Examination
48 students of the Virjanand Akash Computer Kendra were awarded the certificates for having successfully passed the MS Specialist Examination (MS Word, MS Power Point & MS Excel). 48 students were awarded 134 certificates for having passed in one or more categories. Most of the students achieved 100% marks.
The presentation ceremony was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Shri Umang Das, Chairman of the Digital Literacy Committee of Rotary Club, who distributed the certificates to the deserving students of the Kendra. Other eminent Rotarians, who were also present, are Shri Vinod Gupta, Shri Surendra Singh and Shri Pankaj Rai.
Akash Saxena Memorial Scholarship
The Akash Saxena Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to a student in the amount of Rs 10,000 upon maintaining his/her ranking first in order of the merit.
Akash Memorial Charitable Trust started Free Computer Learning program for Senior Citizens, Housewives and the Underpriviledged.
In the digital age, the Trust is promoting a great cause by teaching computer skill to the senior citizens, house wives and under-priviledged.The syllabus taught is government approved, after which examinations are conducted and certificates are provided.
